My Little Ladybugs

We had our ward Halloween party on Friday. There was a chili cook off, a pumpkin carving contest, trick- or- treating, and games for the kids. It was lot of fun for Katelyn and Alia. Katelyn tried doing the donut on a string and bobbing for apples. She really wanted the apple but didn't want to get her face wet. So of course she was really sad about not getting the apple. I didn't think that she liked apples that much. Alia was so tired that she was asleep before we even got home. Anyway, when we got home the power was out in our whole neighborhood. So Travis went into the dark house to get the flashlight to help guide the rest of us into the house. Well luckily for us the power came back on within five minutes of us being home, which helped for the process of getting the girls ready for bed and everything. I don't think you realize how much you rely on electricity until you don't have it.
